Description:

This program combines one of our one year certificate programs with a GlobeTREK year. It is designed for students to: test their intercultural ministry calling, gain experiential learning abroad, and build a biblical foundation and learn about intercultural ministry issues.

The highlight of this 2 year program is the 9 month internship across 10 countries and 4 continents. You will observe and, at times participate in, ministry with orphans, street kids, prisoners, AIDS victims, and former prostitutes. Church planting in a creative access nation, Bible translation, and anti-human trafficking initiatives will also be on the agenda. After weeks of travel, you will immerse yourself in a ministry of your own choosing. You will work under the leadership of local mentors as well as study the local language. This six-month Indian experience culminates with a trek through the Himalayas with your fellow GlobeTREK students. Then you will travel to the African continent and observe what God is doing there. Throughout the entire nine months, you will work towards completing thirty credits of coursework. The countries may change from year to year. Flexibility is expected.
